The Whisper Lake project demonstrates Team Nelson’s ability to take on full-scale residential site development with the discipline, coordination and field performance needed to turn raw land into a build-ready community.
The second division of Whisper Lake in Blaine, Washington, transformed approximately 21.5 acres into a fully developed residential community of more than 80 single-family homes. To achieve the required site grades, Team Nelson precisely cut and filled more than 16,500 cubic yards of material, helping establish long-term site stability and reliable elevation control.
An additional 11,000 tons of imported material were placed to create a durable road base, supporting more than 8,000 square yards of asphalt roadway and over 15,000 square feet of concrete sidewalks. Site access was also improved through the construction of a new 40-foot bridge over an existing stream bed, along with a new entrance connecting directly to State Highway 548.
Team Nelson also installed comprehensive underground utility infrastructure, including approximately 4,900 linear feet of sewer main, 8,765 linear feet of storm drainage, and 4,400 linear feet of water main.
