The Marysville 172nd Apartments project reflects Team Nelson’s strength in managing earthwork and civil utilities across a large residential development with multiple structures, systems and surface improvements.
The project transformed 18.5 acres into a residential community featuring 474 apartment units across 16 elevated garden-style buildings. Team Nelson performed all major earthwork and underground utility installation, including sewer, storm and water infrastructure.
The project also included two large cast-in-place concrete detention vault systems designed to support long-term stormwater management across the site. In addition, Team Nelson completed structural excavation and backfill for multiple three-story residential buildings and a clubhouse.
Major surface improvements included asphalt paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks and roadway frontage improvements along the surrounding corridor.
This case study shows the Team Nelson performance model in action: coordinated field teams, efficient sequencing and large-scale residential infrastructure delivered with precision from the ground up.
